'i-COOKEY'(2022)는 이와 같은 삶의 시간들을 데이터로 담아 가상의 인증서로 발급한다. 데이터 채집을 위해 디지털에 친숙하거나 친숙하지 않은 모든 사람들을 대상으로 북촌 전시실과 노인 복지 센터에서 세 차례 워크숍을 진행하였으며, 자신의 움직임에서 어떤 데이터가 어떻게 발생하는지 경험할 수 있는 시간을 가졌다. 작품은 디지털 인증서와 함께 워크숍 기록 영상, 데이터 수집 키트를 함께 소개한다.
'i-COOKEY 통합 데이터 센터'(2022)는 디지털 데이터를 다루는 우리의 세계에 대해 고민한다. 설치된 데이터 센터 공간에서 관객은 홍보영상, AR 데이터 센터, 그리고 센터의 운영지침과 설문 코너까지 통합 데이터 센터의 여러 코너들을 살펴보게 된다. 데이터 주권, 소유권에 대한 개념을 끌고 와 데이터가 어떻게 이용될 것인지 센터의 운영지침을 관객이 함께 고민하며 우리의 개인 데이터 관리에 대해 재고할 수 있는 기회를 갖는다. 이 데이터센터에서 자신만의 데이터로 구성된 인증서와 함께 우리는 개개인의 시간과 공통의 세계에 대해 다시금 생각하게 한다.
Wrinkles, calluses, asymmetrical body shapes, gaits, and voices are all traces of time etched into our bodies as a result of personal habits. The layers of time created by movement habits serve as evidence, allowing us to infer how individuals have lived and related to the world.
‘i-COOKEY’ (2022) captures these moments of life as data and issues them as vertual certificates. For data collection, workshops were held three times at the Bukchon Exhibition Hall and the Senior Welfare Center, targeting all people who are regardless of their familiarity with digital technology. They had the opportunity to experience how data is generated from their own movements. The work introduces the digital certificate, workshop record video, and data collection kit together.
‘i-COOKEY Integrated Data Center’ (2022) contemplates our world dealing with digital data. In the installed data center space, the audience gets to explore various corners of the integrated data center, from promotional videos, AR data center, to the center’s operating guidelines and survey corner. By bringing in concepts of data sovereignty and ownership, the audience collectively ponders how data will be used according to the center’s guidelines, prompting a reconsideration of our personal data management. With a certificate composed of one’s own data, it prompts us to reflect once again on the concept of individual time and our shared world.
